The data exchange of the ABC Interreg project

ABCDEX

Help & FAQ

ABCDEX is a shared, living database of biobased construction knowledge for the ABC Interreg partner regions. Here are the basics.

What is ABCDEX?
The ABC Data eXchange — a relationship database that connects construction & cover crops, the materials made from them, building projects, partner regions and the policies that support them. It connects data rather than just listing it, so one source can light up many links.
What can I contribute?
Any useful source: a report, dataset, link, product sheet or policy document — or a one-line observation about your region. Use “Add your data” in the Data Room: drag a file or paste a link.
Do I need an account?
No — anyone can add a source (just a name and email). A one-time sign-in link (no password) lets you edit and curate. Not a partner yet? Ask your regional lead to add you.
What happens to what I upload?
The AI reads the document and proposes structured records (crops, materials, regions, policies…), each kept with a short quote from your source. Numbers are only shown with their unit and are reviewed by a curator before they are trusted — nothing is invented.
Who can see my sources?
Sources are public: they are listed openly in the Data Room and anyone can download them. Please don’t upload anything confidential.
How do I give feedback or report a problem?
Use the feedback button on any page — you can type a note or record a short voice memo. Your feedback is what makes the exchange better over time.
