WFBR Biobased Reference Dwellings Environmental Performance Study

Wageningen Food & Biobased Research compared environmental performance of biobased vs conventional versions of three reference dwelling types (terraced house, semi-detached, apartment). Biobased versions showed 18–35% lower environmental impact, with biogenic carbon storage providing an additional 10–25% benefit.
