What this policy reaches
The Climate Programme 2021-2030 describes the measures by which Gelderland province will reduce greenhouse gases (-55% by 2030, climate-neutral by 2050) and sequester CO2. The programme consists of 50 measures across the 5 Dutch Climate Agreement domains: Mobility, Agriculture and Land use, Buildings, Industry, and Sustainable Energy. Measures are still to be worked out in detail; the ABC project specifically aims to further develop the ONCRA method as a policy instrument under this plan. Improvement targets: finance engineering, governance, technical methods for sequestration, new financial instruments for biobased construction, change in management of the instrument, and a likely organic revision of Gelderland's overall climate strategy as CRCF lands.
